Great scenes
The pair posed for photographs and Paxton wrapped his arm around his opponent as they smiled for photographers.
Paxton joked about wrapping his hands around the THROAT of Banks.
The photographers clearly liked it as they asked him to go again with it! Before they returned to all cuddles and smiles.

Jason Banks says he'll remain grounded despite becoming the world singles champion.
He says his main focus was to take a lead and not let Paxton breathe as he pushed towards the finishing line.
He told the BBC: “I don’t think it’s going to change me, I’ll still be the same person.
“But I’m happy I’ve managed to do something nobody has ever done I guess!

Words from the runner-up
Robert Paxton admits Jason Banks was just too good on the day as he toasted a great championships.
He's also relieved the resort is all-inclusive, which might help his sorrows later.
He told the BBC: “I’ve had a great two weeks here and my form has been really good.
“But today isn’t about me, it’s about Jason. He’s broken all-time records and his first world singles. Superb buddy, superb.
“I’m just glad it’s all-inclusive here now so that will probably help!
“It’s always the weekend you want to get to. I didn’t perform as I would’ve liked to but he didn’t let me.”

Jason Banks is the Open Singles World Champion
Robert Paxton 0-2 Jason Banks (4-10, 9-11)
The Scot confirms himself as one of the best in the business after a stunning Open Singles final win after a great couple of weeks for him here.
Paxton needed all four in that final end but it wasn't his day. It wasn't allowed to be as Banks completely smothered him from start to finish.
An incredible, historic week for the 28-year-old.

Set 2 End 10 – Paxton 8-11 Banks (0-1 in sets)
Peach from Jason Banks who has more than one hand on this trophy.
He's on course for a couple after a drive from Paxton doesn't quite come off and that would almost certainly secure the title.
But Paxton's last bowl does send to jack well out to the left and onto the re-spot. Banks comes back with a backhand to clinch the end with just a single.
One end to go....

Set 2 End 9 – Paxton 8-10 Banks (0-1 in sets)
We have a match on our hands - Paxton claims a full house from absolutely nowhere!
And here are the nerves I was just speaking about on Banks.
Those three reds at the back of the jack are there for Banks' fourth and final bowl of the end. But he comes up well, well short, with the green just above the highest red.
That allows Paxton in to claim the four and he has loads of room to play with, but needs the measurements out to secure the four.
What a time to get it with two ends to go!
